So I take it you consider Miata's to be rather insignificant? I wouldnt say so. But it is your opinion I guess.

I've got exhaust coming as well, and new tires before september (can't go driving in Oregon all year with the Potenzas) that will be stickier. Hoping to get test pipes either custom weldeded to the stock cat flanges, or some purchased when they're made for the 07. After that I'll submit my time for the modified list No need to submit a 13.8 to the modified list when I did 13.7 all stock

Only time I've ever had it slip this bad was during launches... I can't apply throttle and slip the clutch from any higher than 2500-3000 rpm or it just slips and starts burning. But today around town it was just peachy, as if Nissan's got it rigged

thats a great story dude ! back when the RX8's hit the market I test drove one, and man it just didnt seem like much to me, but to each his own. im glad you smoked him though, lol ! nothing like a grudge match between two sports cars, again i dont know if the RX8 was supposed to rival the Z33 but if so, someone sure dropped the ball over at mazda ! LOL !

Long Live the VQ !

Personally I think they're nice cars, but not even close competition in a straight line.

Long live the Z! lol

you were acting a little cocky.. its one thing i learned going to the track very often.. no matter if someone runs 20's or 10's.. you treat them all the same.. we are all there for the same purpose.. you could have just ran him without the 15's vs 13's comment.. there is always a bigger fish!

I know exactly what you're talking about (and yes I was acting a little cocky). You had to have been there to see... kid came off right away acting like he could spank the 350 with no problem (before I'd even said anything). lol

I'd like to say Im a pretty level headed person, and that more times then not I would walk away. But sometimes there's just that person that really gets to you. I know what you mean!

I knew you couldnt think that Miata's were not worth it. They may not be the fastest car stock, but they can be a lot of fun!

I can hardly believe that the RX-8 costs the same as a base model Z and is considered a sports car!
