Gosh, I don't know. I'm assuming somewhere around $25000 since he has a sleeved block. The guy is obviously far from broke.

It's been amazing watching Alberto go through all his different setups in all those years. He's always been pretty fast for his mods. Now he's becoming scary fast for his mods.
Good job Alberto.

Next time...when you run under 11 seconds

Took us a little while to diagnose this but once we made the corrections it has run very straight for us. Don't qoute me on this because I was not directly involved in the fix and it was about two years ago we encountered that problem. I will have Eric chime in when he gets a chance to confirm or change the info if need be. Good Luck and once again nice job, Jason
I think that's called caster, not toe. I could be wrong though

Good job Alberto.
Thanks man...I love thinking back to the "journey"...I held the fastest stock Z time for a short while in 03' 13.77 @ 101.4mph hit it on my 2nd pass ever. Then doing 13.1 @ 107mph with bolt-ons, I was too cautious off the line and never hit that launch for 12's, but still held highest NA trap for the longest time (still 2nd with stock headers, TB). But I did reach my goals with my Turbonetics set-up on (again) my 2nd pass ever (11.98). And now Im knocking on 10 sec door with my car the heaviest its ever been. Wonder where I'll be next year Im already setting up a plan for low 10's EASY on the 6mt....

I NEVER thought Id take my car this far, all I ever wanted was a 13 sec stock time

Not sure if you knew Bert, but you can get a line lock (B&M or Hurst) from here:

he is going to need 2. One for each wheel in the front. I was thinking about the same thing so I can actually heat up my tires.

I felt that I was doing good considering my own goals (got into the 13s for the first time ). Can't wait to try some runs on a faster track.

You're about 2-3 years late on your solution about not hating. I agree with you, it is getting old, but this site is like a soap opera. The shop vs.shop drama does good for awhile and then its back to the same old same old.

Really? Two are needed? That's weird, I was thinking only one would be needed.

there are individual lines that go to each caliper from the distribution block for the ABS, bet to tap it right after there.

then it will work perfectly!!

So, at one point they merge together? And you can tap there without having to buy two Line Locks?

They don't merge together after the distribution block. You have to have two line locks or else get rid of your abs. I did all this two years ago. It's pretty simple to do. Just a few new short hard lines need to be bent after the distribution block to the line locks and then the stock lines go on the output of the line locks.

Bring that blue beast to Texas, Alberto. I'll show you how to do a 2nd gear burnout with no line lock. And you can run some 10s and not get kicked off.

That power and time is right on with my buddy's blue car up in your area when he had 480s at the wheels. good times.

I'm hangin in there like a ten pound booger.

Glad to see your car is together in one piece. Is this combo here to stay or are you going to change things up?

My friend might buy my mustang to put the engine and tranny in a miata. I told him if he doess, he has to ut an ls1 in the rolling chassis. Who the heell knows what I will get. Something slow.

New engine management likely during the fall and a retune on race gas maxing out these turbos. Sometime next year I want to add a little shot....
