When my car was stock, I ran 9.2's. I was wanting Z's with my current setup, but never tried any slicks or drag radials, so 8.3 is the best I got to date with current mods.

Bone stock 05' base, with 35psi in all for stock tires, I ran 9.2-ish.

Obviously track/air conditions play a part in this but anyway, my best time was a 9.16 @ 77.44 in my stock '06 5AT.

Sounds like low 9's (possibly high 8's) is the magic number.

Damn. I have a '04 GTO A4 and the best I've been able to do is a 8.9 at 80 with a 2.0 60 ft!!

Guess I better not go around messing with Z's.

Ouch..I had a stock auto (3.23) LT1 car that went 9.1 @ 79mph on a 2.1 60ft..
My GF had a stock auto (2.73) LT1 car that went 9.2 @ 80mph on a 2.2 60ft...

Something isn't right...

Well to tell you the truth the LS1 GTO A4 and a LT1 6-speed I think would be a driver's race stock vs stock with the LS1 having a slight advantage at 100+. I was hoping for 8.7-8.8 at 81-83 but she's not pulling as strong as she should once she hits "3RD" gear around 80. From 80-100 she seems to fall off.

On a good night I'm only gaining 20-21 mph from the 1/8 to the 1/4.

When I dynoed her the numbers were:

288 hp
316 tq

The tq is okay but she is a little low on the hp side to me although alot of GTO's had a crappy tune from the factory.

I know all about the tune...friends 06 A4 only put down 29x rwhp before he had it retuned...

Man I wish my GTO could trap 108 like your Camaro. The furthest I will go mods wise is full exhaust and even with a good tune if I gain 35-40 hp a 108 trap speed still might be out of reach. This damn weight!!

From what I've seen the LS2 M6 cars can do 108~109mph so with a simple tune I would think the auto could get there.

Friends 06 is sitting on 361rwhp with just a predator tuner (more than enough to match my traps I would think)
