Well to the thread starter if you can drive good you'd have a really good chance against my LS1 GTO A4. All I have is diablosport tune, K&N CAI, and TB Bypass. When my car was stock I had the misfortune of running into Warren(VeeTec) and his '07 Z this past summer. He beat me by almost a full second(14.6 to his 13.7). Yeah my car was heatsoaked but it wouldn't have mattered.
The best I've been able to muster so far is a 13.8 at 100 so you would have a great chance against the heavy LS1 GTO A4's.

I will try to get those slips as soon as I can in the Z
Thanks Peak Those Bimmer guys crack me up sometimes but the active ones at the meets are much cooler than the board trolls
I will add I ran a WS6 from a 50 roll in my EK hatch years ago....it had gears and exhaust so you can imagine how many buslengths he put on me....good run though and one of my first LS1 matchups....probably a 108-110 car minimum lol

I ran into a LS1 GTO one night. He had an intake and a 3 inch cat-back. From a roll, he slowly pulled to about a car length. From a Dig, I was the better driver, and I got him by half a car. I have K&N filter and Test Pipes.

The Z is harder to launch. Independent rear suspension doesn't like that to much. But the GTO was a 6spd to answer your question.

I'm not sure, I don't pay attention to GTO's. All I know is, from a dig, I got him.

A gto with IRS can completely outlaunch an F-Body with a straight axle.
IRS isn't as bad as it used to be.

Actuallly come to think of it..you guys get better 60fts than our straight axle setups... jeesh..
I know what you are saying peak. Most of the GTOs I've seen do nothing but wheelhop like crazy....
