I have actually seen a c6 z06 procharged vehicle at the track on street tires. He ran mid 10's forget exact number but all you heard was tire spinning most of the way down the track....

No way. Running 9s on street tires in a IRS car is just not gonna happen. And like Alberto said, it's so much harder to get fom 11s to 9s then it is to get from 13s to 11s.

A car that run say a 9.9 1/4mile is bus lengths faster than one that runs a 10.5. The gap is enormous.

uh...no. It is enormous. You think about it, when cars are going 140-150mph at the 1320 every tenth of a second difference is equal to more car lengths.

Whereas with cars that trap about 85-90mph one tenth of a second may not even equal one full car length.

its true, a 9second car would make a 10.5-11 sec car look like its almost standing still at the line an definitely if it out 60 foots it.

9.88 @ 156mph street tires with a 6 speed tranny.

But on topic about the vette...no.

i think there wider than that arent they? my dads c5 zo6 had that size. i believe the c6 zo6 is either 11.5 or 12.5 wide?

when u say street tire, do u mean a regular street tire, or any street legal tire? cause drag radials are street legal too

a stock z06 with the only mods being supercharger (a base supercharger out of the box boost) and drag radials, i don't think its possible

but a built supercharged z06 (prolly even on a stock internals engine) can prolly hit mid 9's on drag radial

but i've never heard of that happening before
