yes it will, i've personally seen this difference, it wasn't vettes, but it was a car running a 10.5 and a 9.9

think about it, a car going 135+, its gonna travel more than a bus lenght in .6 sec

Ya, the difference is that bad at the end of the track. I think its pretty obvious as well if you were to think about it.

I do think it would be pretty hard to run mid 9's on street tires, and I think the list from the corvette forum pretty much proved that.

again that depends on ur definition of street tires, if ur talking about a true street tire, then yes,its hard, that viper (I first saw this about 3 months ago) and the ultima gtr 720 (for those that dont know, the ultima is a exceptionally engineered kit car,but ultima claims it not a kit car cause its not basedon anything and has its own chassis, mcleran acually used the ultima chassis in the development of the f1) are the only cars I know of that has run 9's on a true street tire.

but if ur talking drag radials, there are alot of cars that went 9's, some even 8's. just that the corvette fi list is only 3 cars long, and the only car running drag radials is running nitrious, not a supercharger or turbos.

vid of ultima running 9's can be found on this page

I'm perfectly aware that Z06's dont come with superchargers, thats why i said yes i know i'm saying stock that was my problem cause Z06s wouldnt be stock with Superchargers. The dude was saying a Stock Z06 with a supercharger mean stock suspension, tires, exhaust everything but the SC.

@ 135mph, .6 seconds comes out to 118.8 feet... I'd say thats longer than a Bus.

http://s22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...27DYNORUNS.flv not a 1/4 mile pass but this is our street vette, Stock suspension, no cage recently been 9's with drag radials. Also the first engine we've had on the dyno out of a small group of us.
