I'm trying to get some more info now, but for the kind of money they are talking about I'll be there
As usual the payout is based on the number of cars. For instance 100 cars in the 13 second class for $5,000. If 10 cars show the payout is $500. That might be:
Win $300
Place $150
Show $50
This looks like heads-up racing in a class, and the class is a time bracket. An example is the 11 second bracket. You can run 11.00 to 11.99 seconds. If you run 10.99 seconds you are eliminated.

then they will also have a bracket race.If you enter and get bumped from a class, you may be able to jump into an open class with a dial-in. Usually that class is a fun or no-money class.
I raced several times like this at Maryland International Raceway. Racing would run from 10 in the morning until 10 at night. Long hours but lots of competition experience.
