Going to the track for the first time (High Altitude)
Well I will be going out to bandimere in Denver Colorado here in the next couple of weeks with some friends.
What are some tips you guys can give me? The main thing I want to know is what RPM are people launching at, and are you dropping the clutch at that those rpms?
I would really love to get into the 13's but I don't see it happening because of the altitude. I have seen modded Z's here run 15's because of this altitude. Its about 6k ft above sea level how much is that going to affect my times?

In general, if your wheels are spinning then either let the clutch out slower or lower the launch RPM. If your car is bogging then let the clutch out faster or raise the RPM. It's a "feel" thing. Track and vehicle variables change so much that there isn't a "one way" that's going to work perfect everytime on stock tires.
