Spinning problem plz help.
I went to the drag strip today and i cant go under 14.4 @ 104.5mph with my 04 6spd 350z.
I was spinning only 1 tires everytime. first, second en third speed with a tire spining.
I got 285/40/18 and it still not have traction.
Another guy with a oem 350z 03 oem wheels did 14.2 .
Can someone explain this to me and is the best thing to do is to buy a real lsd?

Don't shift so hard...its simple, if you get spin you just don't drop the clutch so hard off the shift until you don't get spin. You are accelerating much more slowly if you're spinning - so avoid it.

Im not stupid, I did every kind of start and its all the same. I start in second speed and i did 14.4 also. Anyway, probably the cold track and the cement dont help and the crappy vlsd too lolll... Anyway, got a supercharger on the way now so maybe it will help a bit.

Peak350, all my runs are between 14.4 and 14.6, depending of the start ,rpm everything. Its about 5 degrees outta here and the first 100 ft of the track is in Cement so it might be a problem with my BF goodrich G-force, not enough hot maybe. Well, i got a 6 spd Z and i wasnt having any traction at all. 1-2-3 gear

I'm also curious how if you have a VLSD its letting you spin one tire, I've never had that issue.

I had 285 rears on my 05 and the vlsd would not last but one run. To much traction on one wheel will over load the fluid. All so it depends on the age of your Viscous. The fluid can only be broken down so many times before it gets real weak. I think sport compact car did a write up on the VLSD and had problems with theirs after just a short time. They said that it got scary because it would just decide to work when it wanted to even in the middle of a turn. It should be on their website under project cars.
