4000 Feet Elevation.

APS TT, MT ET Streets, JWT Clutch and Flywheel
I'm confused, but California Speedway is not anywhere near 4000 feet in elevation, it's in Fontana and pretty close to sea level. Also I was there this past weekend, and I didn't see any 350Zs running 12s, shoot I didn't even see one run 13s, are you sure your not mistaking Cal Speedway with LACR?

Oh you went to the racing on the 12th, ok I went on the 13th, that's why I didn't see you. Still Cal Speedway is not 4000 feet in elevation, who ever told you that, told you wrong. Anyways very good time.

it's 1700 feet and if you add air density, humidity and all that crab it brings you up to about 4000 supposedly...I was always told it's 2200 but I keep on getting corrected here and told it's 4000...at 2200 converted to sea level my 12.254 would have been a 11.9...
Bottomline is Cali Speedway is known to be notoriously slow with strong head winds, so I am more than happy especially since that was my first time with the twins

I was there on Friday for the Privates, only 80 cars allowed and lots of runs, much better than the crowded Saturdays. We were three turboed z's all hitting 12's even though I was the fastest

I have videos, time slips and photos in case you don't believe me (videos are posted in seperate thread and here's a link of me beating Igottaz

BTW, if you don't hit 11's with 430RWHP, I will be disappointed.

I am about to do my first mod, so no more stock runs for me either. Woohoo, JWT pop charger, should be good for .005 seconds.

I am still trying to decide on an exhuast, but it looks like Borla, or custom will get the nod.
If I don't get into the 11s I'll be disappointed too :P Borla sounds great but if you ever have to take it apart it's a b!tch with those slip joints.

Tom.. .you mean Famoso

I think its like 600' above sea level, but still better than and 1/8th mile at SL, or a 1/4 at 2700'. Lemme know how you do.

Cheers, Ted

LOL, for whatever reason I have about 20 different ways to say Famoso...

in general everything below 1000 feet is still considered sea level, in any case it's the closest to sea level we got here in southern cali ever since they demolished Carlsbad (the dragway not the city... )

It may be a “bad” 60 foot time, but hell, it’s the best that I’ve got.

Not being a critic, that will be a much better time once you get a good launch. Launching the car seems to be the challenge for most of us. I can get 2.0 60's and not turn what you did, so your car has some good top end grunt.

Default I’d like to see every 60 foot time ...

like the one above, but then again, so would most 350Z drivers.

2.10 is a pretty decent 60' for street tires..the the best...but not BAD by a long shot.

Sean is being modest. His car only has a JWT intake and injen exhaust. One hell of a run. His car makes good top end power too.
