As the title says, I got humbled. My first run of the season at the track, and my first run with the twins on. Was a very interresting day. 1 car smashed the wall, smashed the opposite lane's wall, then came back to his lane and jumped the wall. 2 people's windows blew out on the track, 2 people's tires got shredded going down the track (both firestone), 1 engine fire, and 2 thrown rods.
Note: was on street tires, and have a 6spd.
run1:
R/T .180
60' 2.193
330 5.766
1/8 8.613
mph 88.85
1000 11.035
1/4 13.025
mph 113.68
run 2:
R/T .240
60' 2.181
330 5.780
1/8 8.638
mph 88.44
1000 11.072
1/4 13.083
mph 112.82
I had fun, and that's what counts even if I am disappointed with my times.
edit: was at pacific raceways in kent, WA. 81 degrees outside, with a 81% humidity.

You need to worry about controlling tire spin before worrying about shifting.

Other members with 500 horsepower may have move difficulty. Yes competition tires will be helpful.

once you hook at the line and can hook into 2nd and 3rd you will see the times come way down. great traps though and not bad for street tires and lots of power. could be worse

yeah, I even tried to launch my car even though I thought I would snap my axles. Launched at 4k, and at 3500rpm. Times were disgusting from hopping and spinning. ended up with like a 2.6 60' and a 14.6 @107. Don't think I will be trying that again without the propper wheel/tire set-up.

LOL! j/k
But seriously, why is that trap so low? Are you sure you are making 434whp and that you are tuned right?
60 foot will affect your trap as well, but I was still expecting a higher trap.
A 2.1 60 foot for a street setup RWD car is not THAT bad. Most cars like that are around 2.0....so you aren't THAT far off.
Another thing you have to keep in mind is that more power = less traction. In other words, in order for you to run good times with that much power, street tires are NOT an option. You simply cannot pull off a good 60 foot with that much power and street tires.
Next time, show up with some nice drag radials and you'll do better.

)Z32 guys also often sell their 16x8.5" TT rear wheels with MT ET streets or other DR.
