Default Is this Possible for a stock G37?

Went to a private track rental this weekend

New Bone stock pass:

1.83 60'
13.33 @ 106.2

So we got to thinking, my friend had a 350Z with some BFG 18" Drag Radials. So yes, we did what you were all thinking, we swapped those onto the G37.

1.69 60'
12.92 @ 108.4

Drag Radials only

http://myg37.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187045

I mean 108.4mph trap on stock car and pulling 1.69 60'? I looked at the 1/4 list here and not a lot of people can pull that 60' on a NA car. If I do a basic calculation and use the rule 1350/ET=trap then 1350/12.92=104.48mph. If I do a 1350/Trap=ET then that is 1350/108.4=12.45. I doubt he can still cut that ET since 1.69 is already pretty sick 60's.

pretty impressive, looks like your buddy is a good driver with a 1.8 60' on stock tires.

No he's not my buddy, he is a member in myG37. I asked him to go to a different track coz his numbers are just to damn good. 108.4mph trap on a stock G37 is just insane.. he just created the thread and he'll post the slip later..

This was his first run a month ago.

/\ he did post a slip on his first run a month ago.. look above you. Even if he does provide a slip it is just a damn good time and trap for a stocker.

Damn. Ive never seen one break 13's around here. Getting 12's with just DR's is freaking amazing as are those 60's.

Not sure where the time slip came from.
Cant verify what time was for what vehicle.
Cant question the driver.

Thanks for the interesting post but I have no facts to work with.

If those numbers were accurate I would be very impressed however I am very skeptical of the 60's. Not saying its impossible but very unlikely especially with 18' DRs.

I think its possible with the cool temps he had and decent DA. What he might not be admitting to is that he may have done some weight reduction.

A low 1.8 60ft on stock tires is nearly impossible in this type of car, but not something that couldnt be done. The man can drive, I give him props...keep in mind the added weight of the G37 can actually help him hook those short times, much like Julian ran better 60ft's when he put the stock hatch in over the lexan window/cf combo.

I was at raceway park this past sunday and there was boosted G's running like. A white G37 and grey stock (just an exhaust) new G37 ran a 14.00 flat. Fastest was a 13.00 g37sedan from NY.. That's pretty amazing for a G37 as i pull hard on those everytime..

Tell him to take the car to a more widely known track, like Enblishtown or Atco or Island dragway. Some tracks have weird timing systems which land too optimistic ETs.

I bet if he runs on those tracks he's not doing better than 13.7.

Good driving though, but to me it's the track that's got to do with most of those times.

Yes 1.69 60' on a stock g37 is insane!! anyways he seem to be a great driver and add a very fast track = good times..

I posted the list of 350z/g35 that are getting 1.6 60' in there look what he said..lol

Didn't see that i did see the white G37 tho.. I was with my buddy who ran his 87 Rx7 GT40r.. i was so pissed i didnt bring my Z. and sure enuff my buddy lined up with a Grey G i think. I just remember the G running 13.5 and my buddy ran a 13.8. he spun first and missed third.. Talk about a rough ride home. lol as long as it was a VQ that beat him.. Was the M35 black? I could have sworn it was a g37 sedan? Either way i plan on head down once before the season ends for sure. Those were some badass G's too man. clean low and mostly boosted from what i saw..

The M35 TT ran 13.0 and Infiniti dont have a G37 sedan yet. The fastest I know was the G37 auto who did 13.7 and I dont know anyone else ran faster than that or even came close. There was a ST 350z there that did ran 13.5 though... Are you sure you weren't half a sleep when you saw them?.. lol j/k

It was fareezing out lol and i didn't wanna gawk. But that had to be it a Black sedan with a JWT twin kit and stock wheels. and the G was an APS ST that i remeber for sure. We left after one run as they were letting all the domestic's run more frequently.. I was in Z denial since mine was at home and i was watching all these boosted VQ's..
