awesome!
tons of people never thought it was possible
...glad this showed them up
OldManZ350, you're probably crossing the line at the bottom of 5th gear, ever consider a shorter final drive so you'd be at the top of 5th gear instead?

changed tires to m/t 275/60/15's (28 in) tall ran 11.856@116.76
With the 28's I cut .277 off my 330ft and .263 off my 1/8, but lost .110 in the second half of the track. It also was very humid and higher dew point. Car runs best in Dry, cool weather. I will run 11.50's-11.60 with this setup.
Now I waiting for someone to Correct me ( 275/50/15's are really 26.1 tall) and Hijack the thread again. haha

Nice time, but a 03' touring doesn't weigh 3450lbs, I've weighed mine countless times at the track; it's about 3200 without spare and jack and me in in it.
NOT What does your 2003 Touring really Weigh

6700rpm redline, with 26in tall tire, and stock 3.5diff I was going through the traps banging the rev limiter in 4th at 117mph all day (on pumpgas)......Was at the point that if I shifted to 5th it slowed me down a bit.
thats all changing this season woohoo

Tim...any plans of changing your diff to the 3.3. I remember a guy that raced with me @ Bradenton and he went with the 28" tire and a 3.3 in his 6mt and he had plenty of 4th gear left going thru the traps. I wonder if any of this makes a difference on a SC Z opposed to a turboed Z

Don't know if the centrifigul SC's make enough low-mid tq to warrant a lower geared diff like the turbo's due. But I could be off for Tim's setup.

nice. brembo owners get the shaft for dragging. At least MT makes a 275/55/16 DR. Good to hear your JWT clutch is working out. Mine just slips when i try to launch.
11.5 will take some more seat time. i'm sure you get it though.

I'm still coming out of the hole a bit easy, just don't what to break my car.

With the 26 M/T's and 7100RPM I was hitting the rev limiter @ 118 in 4th gear and had to shift into 5th just before the traps.
With the 28 M/T's and 7100RPM it will go 130 in 4th gear before hitting the rev limiter.
So I have plenty of room now in 4th Gear with the 3.535 Diff. Trap RPM is 6300-6400. A 27 tall tire would be perfect for the setup i have now.
