sorry guys i should have said that. it was late and i was tired.
my car is an 05 base model with injen cai, b&m short shifter, kinetix v+ plenum, md aramid gasket, titek test pipes, and apexi n1 exhaust. last time i was at track i ran 14.1, two 14.0, two 13.9, and a 13.87 at 102 was my best. since those runs i added the kinetix plenum and apexi n1 exhaust. what should i do next? all 3 of my runs were consistantly better last night. i would have liked to have run a few more times but it was really crowded.

Your best times are very close. One day you are going to race when density altitude excellent, and run 13.5X seconds. I put my money on it

What does your Apexi exhaust sound like with the test pipes? Can you put up a video if possible?

I have the same exhaust, and have been tossing around the idea of getting test pipes, but don't know how it'll sound.

is there any area that you think you need work on?? Do you feel that your launching at the best RPM's, (what is your launch tactic?). What are you running for tires & pressures? I think if you can make a 1.9 60ft time with some drag radials, you could probably land a 13.5 for sure...

yes the non-resonated titek tp an n1 exhaust are on the car in the video links above. i love the way it sounds and have gotten many compliments. even the night of the races i had 3 people come up to me and ask what kind of exhaust it was and that it sounded sick. normal driving around town is a bit raspy around 3000 rpms but over all i love the way it sounds

well i run a nitto nt555 in the back in a 255/50/zr17 (not the drag radial version). i run my tire pressure between 26-28psi. i rev up to about 2500-3000rpms and at the third yellow i feather out the clutch. overall i think i may be able to launch a tad higher but am scared of spinning like crazy. i would get drag radials but cant find them in a size that will fit on my stock 17 inch rims. i have been playing around with where to shift however and not really sure what is best. i know the car makes the highest hp stock around 6200rpms. just havent figured out if thats the right place to shift or not. any pointers? keep in mind my car is a base model and doesnt have an lsd

also i forgot to take the injen hydro bag off my air filter when i ran. could that be restricting the air intake flow enough to have slowed the car down at all?

I run 255 azenis in back at about 24psi shifting out of 1st/2nd at 6800, then from 3rd to 4th at 6500-6600. Seems to work best as the car falls flat on its face after about 6500. I try to keep my launch consistent at about 2800 at the local track and 3000 at the better track (MIR). So far best pass of 13.4?@104.7ish (can't remember exactly as I washed my jeans with the slips.....so I haven't counted them towards my best time yet). 1.9's are very possible with street tires, but I never got very good traction out of the nt555's when I had them. Hope that helps.
