I suck even with a 100 Shot!
All my friends that were watching me on the fence were telling me that it looked like I was granny shifting real bad.
Honestly I was, I clutch in all the way to the floor and let off the gas. 2nd gear is the worst, it doesnt like to go into gear, everytime I tryed to quick shift it I got the nice GRIND.

Fast is relative. Everyone is hot dog racer until they go to the dragstrip, and are handed a 14.1 second time slip.
3hree5ive0ero mentioned an important point. “Good drag racers are consistent.” A handful of 13.4 and 14.1 times slips is sloppy.

Likewise, after we told you that your launch needs lots of work, you told us (and actually showed us), you were starting from idle (which is the dumbest thing you can do when trying to get a good E.T. at the drag strip. What was your reasoning for this? Tires being bald is an excuse, since you can still get a better launch with balding tires than a 2.192.
+1, I couldn't tell when the nitrous kicked in, what nitrous setup do you have? is it tuned correctly? how many passes did u make on the bottle? is it empty now? did you check your bottle pressure?

I always say to myself a 100 shot is good for -1.5 seconds off your ET. Shitty weather, horrible launch, minus a little psi of bottle pressure and you still should've hit mid 12's on that trap. You really make Nissan's logo say:
Shift_____Wait______Clutch___Go!!
Shift_____Wait______Clutch___Go!!
also, check out this site, its more geared towards vettes, but it will work for any rwd car with enough power to spin the tires (adjust launch rpm and such...):

This number climbs exponentially the lower rpm you start it at. Of course, this is what will kill an engine if not done correctly.
