Think of it this way. You made the Top-10.

i have an 04 350z enthusiast.i had 19's volk gts.everything else was stock and i ran a 75 shot and put down a 13.2@109.32mph....i think a 100 shot would put a 350z in the 12's

All my friends that were watching me on the fence were telling me that it looked like I was granny shifting real bad.

Honestly I was, I clutch in all the way to the floor and let off the gas. 2nd gear is the worst, it doesnt like to go into gear, everytime I tryed to quick shift it I got the nice GRIND.

I and other members are just having some good spirited fun at your expense.

Fast is relative. Everyone is hot dog racer until they go to the dragstrip, and are handed a 14.1 second time slip.

3hree5ive0ero mentioned an important point. “Good drag racers are consistent.” A handful of 13.4 and 14.1 times slips is sloppy.

After watching the vids it sounds like you're short shifting, and I bet you weren't spraying what you thought you were...

So, now you're claiming that you were shifting slow after being told you were shifting slow. Assuming that you already knew you were shifting slow, then what was the reason for this thread? If you already knew, you should know by default that you need to work on shifting faster. So, why shout to the world that you still suck even with a 100 shot, which by the way implies you suck with or without the nitrous engaged?

Likewise, after we told you that your launch needs lots of work, you told us (and actually showed us), you were starting from idle (which is the dumbest thing you can do when trying to get a good E.T. at the drag strip. What was your reasoning for this? Tires being bald is an excuse, since you can still get a better launch with balding tires than a 2.192.

+1, I couldn't tell when the nitrous kicked in, what nitrous setup do you have? is it tuned correctly? how many passes did u make on the bottle? is it empty now? did you check your bottle pressure?

I always say to myself a 100 shot is good for -1.5 seconds off your ET. Shitty weather, horrible launch, minus a little psi of bottle pressure and you still should've hit mid 12's on that trap. You really make Nissan's logo say:

Shift_____Wait______Clutch___Go!!

My Bible...the Fiancee had never been racing in her life and I had her using the method from that site... on her 3rd pass at the strip she posted a 13.1 @ 106mph on a 1.99 60ft in my car... It may not be the best way to launch a car but it has to be close to it.

Nitrous will give you tons of tq. On average depending on what rpm you start it at will give you 1.5 to 2 times the amount of tq over horsepower.

This number climbs exponentially the lower rpm you start it at. Of course, this is what will kill an engine if not done correctly.
