Default How to improve et

specs:

03 hks tt
8psi 395whp

i went to the track last week:

full weight, street tires, ran 12.6 @ 117 2.2 60' all night long...

i want to get into the 11's so my plans are to:

-remove pass seat, spare, and anything else i find
-drag radials
-intercooler nitrous spray

any other suggestions that might help? budget up to = $300, i cant turn my boost up (actuators are fawking weak).

DR's and practice should get you there with that power on a DD. Get that 60' down to the 1.8 range and you are already in the 11's. Cheers.

Nice trap

Tires is all you need to hit 11's easy, I wouldnt even go through the trouble of removing $hit from the car.

Your trap def puts you in 11's. Although removing weight will help, the biggest issue for you will be to get your 60' down. Drag radials will def do that. What tire psi are you set at with your street tires? Also what specs on the street tires?

Can you soften the suspension for weight transfer to help the 60' with the drag radials? That'll blow your $300 budget anyway.

i have 255/40/18 kdw on the rear which i lower the psi to 15 but that was a mistake.. i got 2.4 60' with that. when i up the pressure to 35 it went down to 2.1-2.2

i had a 1.8 60' with street tires b4 on some 275/40/18 continentals.. dont know how that happened!!

i def need dr or slicks!!

i would never go below 20-22 on a street tire. I run ~24 and that nets me the best results, but you are going to need the dr's or slicks to get to the 1.8's with boost. Good luck

wheres the time slip for 1

just remove the spare tire and etc. and get a good set of tires to bring along and mount on.. et streets mounted on a flix ftd lightweight 17" wheel are what i run at 400whp and have no trac. issues and pull 1.6's

don't remove anything from your car!

drag radials is your best bet.
