I ran pig rich on the dyno on the 50 shot. I used the off the shelf jets for 100hp, but ran 1 size bigger on the fuel side. I'm running 1 step colder copper plugs as well. I'm no nitrous expert, but I've run the bottle for a few years on a few different cars. It seems to have worked out well so far.

Do you mean my stock clutch wouldn't hold up? It didn't. I'm in the market for a new piece as we speak. If you mean the times, I ran 12.6 on a 75 shot and Eagle F1's with a 1.9 60ft.

My other 60 ft that day was 1.8 with no burnout straight from tech to the track. The launch was at 5k and had a slight bog. I ran 12.4 that run.

Do you have a second pass with a 60' anywhere near that low? I think the absolute best 60' I've ever pulled on my BFG DRs (295/35-18) was 1.70, that was with about 15psi of tire pressure and heating them for a good 10 seconds. A swap to my 15 inch welds with ET streets gave me low 1.6 to high 1.5 60's.
I don't think the BFG DR in that size can stick to go 1.5s....
Nice slip, but I'd get a second slip like that before I assume I have a car that can pull 1.5s...

My 12.4 run an hour before this one was a 1.8, but I bogged from the 5k launch there. I spray the full 100 hp shot off the line. I'll have to upgrade various drivetrain pieces before I lift my foot at 6K again. I was having a pretty bad day. My tire pressure was 18psi, pre burnout, on a 70 degree day.

There's a BIG difference between a 1.8 and a 1.57 60'. All I'm saying is I don't think those DRs with the suspension setup we have on our cars will stick enough to pull a 1.5x 60'. Track timers can give erroneous numbers. I just don't want you to be disappointed when you go back to the track with upgraded drivetrain components and aren't able to duplicate that 60' on the DRs.
I'm posting a pic of the timeslip for further dissection.

I would expect nothing better than a 1.65. I figure the GF210 springs are supposedly softer than stock until they get get fully compressed. I have no problem believing that I got lucky on the launch, but the car next to me pulled a 1.9 and didn't catch up until past half track.

Hope to see some 11s soon!

Yeah, that was a full drag car dong test and tune. Either he babied it out of the hole or spun a bit. Either way, it kind of scared me when he roared past. It was an early Chevelle.

OP, do you have anything else even close to that 60' on another run?
Congrats on the good run but DRs just dont hook that well to pull off 1.5x 60s.
I would understand that maybe its the perfect setup if you have a few of 1.5xs on that car.
Good job either way!

I pulled a couple of 1.8's bogging very hard out of the hole. Launching anywhere below 5.5K resulted in pretty bad 60 ft's. I'm actually going back to the track Friday with the stock clutch. I changed the clutch fluid recently. Hopefully that will give me the buffer I need for about 3 more runs. I'm not sure if it will hold up to a 6K launch right now.

There is a huge huge difference in a 1.8 and a 1.5. From experience I dont think you will ever be able to recreate that 1.5 on that setup. Every once in a while, the lights will mess up. Its pretty old technology at the tracks for the most part.
If you can recreate that 1.5 then thats awesome but I just dont see it happening.
1.8 would be a bog down launch and if you were to take off right and not bog, a 1.7x would probably be where you land. A 1.5x at the track is dumping a turbo car with nitrous or a turbo car with a fair amount of power at 7000 rpms on 28x9 inch slicks and dead hooking. Its a crazy feeling for sure.
