Default Front Sway bar *SUCCESS*

Well since i have owned several mustangs over these past years and one of the free mods to improve 60' times was the removal of the front stabilizer/sway bar. I decided to do this today in the Zee and i have to say, I noticed a great improvement on a tarmac secluded closed course, with the sway bar on 3500rpms was the limit of traction, with IT removed launching at 4100 rpms was achieved. Im going tonight to the track tonight to the local test n tune to confirm this theory... Has anyone on here tried this before, please share you thoughts about this? Im on 275 40 17 DR's on the stock 8' rim

Disclamer: The removal of the sway considerably alters the way the car behaves so please if your going to do this dont expect a good handling car.

Wow, that is an old school trick. I've never done it on my Z but have on other cars in the past. Let us know as soon as you can! Very cool. Good luck tonight!

In our case (mustangs) the removal yielded better weight transfer front to back since the front shocks will be allowed more travel and a little bit of weight reduction. But the again every car is different, so i will post my results later on tonight. Like i said this mod is only for straight line racing, as it drastically reduces the car ability to handle in corners

Should help. I always wanted to drop an endlink and run, but never had time before the test and tune events (I'd go straight from work).

Tomorrow at the local import wars . I will post results, so far on the street its surprisingly good and i didn't notice that much of a difference in the handling dep either. I have to say the ride is a tad softer, so feels good
