Psi on drag radials?
You aren't going to know until you get out and run.....Start in the low 20's and work your way down until you get the desired grip. Mine seem to like a good burn and about 18psi hot.
i'm not sure if that's a tire compound thing at the track or style of tire but that was my experience.
I have also found that the MT's seem to be more than ample for grip in the 16-18 range. The FI fellas might benefit slightly lower, but for an NA car.......16-18 seems to be ideal in my experience. Granted the Nittos are not as sticky as the MT's.

Personally, I only went once to the track with borrowed drag radials and they were improperly stored. I believe I had about 18-20 psi in them that day.
Anyway, you should always start high and only go down to what works best. The lower the tire pressure, more "grip" but there will also be more drag (from friction). Additionally, if you have lower tire pressure, you'll sway from side to side due to lack of rigid sidewalls on the drag tires (or is that just on slicks?).
I'm not sure if DRs are supposed to be treated the same as slicks just with higher psi, but on slicks I start around 18 psi and work my way down at .5 to 1.0 increments. There should be a point where your tires no longer slip and just dead hooks, which is when you start worrying about keeping the pressure constant at that level.
And this goes without saying, but just in case... make sure you sufficiently warm up your tires prior to your run.

When I first got mine I was running around 18-17 psi. After a lot of confusing runs I found that 22psi was best for me. So like everyone else said you pretty much have to feel them out.
ya i kept dropping til i dead hooked. that night it was 12-13psi. I would spin with 16psi
hey rich, idk if it's a track thing or tire thing but my mickey street drag radials started getting slippery again when i went down past 14psi. somewhere between 14-18 was the best. They also started getting way too squishy at trap speeds.
