better is to switch the 101 pin on the ECU. that way you still have brake lights.

The Z doesnt do a Burnout very elegant. It tends to do a whole lot of wheel hop witch can destroy your cars suspension. Only way I can do a burn out is to do a few donuts first even then I still have problem with wheel hop.

i dont think ur on the same page here...were talking about doing a stand still brake stand..not revving it up and dumping it and spinning for a second and moving forward...a straight stand still brake stand u need to pull the brake lamp fuse...on the z u cant hold the brake and gas at the same time or it shuts down power....maybe ur 07 base is different idk...

^ +1 for me, maybe it's just because I have a roadster, so the weight is a tad different, but I've noticed that it does like to hop. I even broke a strut mount doing some donuts

I have no problem doing a standing burnout......with the fuse pulled. Perhaps driver error is to play in some of these responses.

A line locks are the answer you are looking for. there are some write ups around on it. If you have an account on g35driver I posted a couple of things in the drag section.

http://g35driver.com/forums/drag/296...ight=line+lock

and for the wheel hop questions

http://g35driver.com/forums/sfl-g-cl...ight=wheel+hop

PM me if you need any help mike

There's no need to do a real burnout on street tires. Just spin them for a second or two out of the water patch to clean them off if you want.

^ I have yet to do a standing burnout with out any wheel hop. I just cant stomache it when it starts. I can do a quick peel off but not a burn out. Never a need for it anyway in the streets. I prefer to do that **** sideways...Word

My wheels have never hopped when doing a burnout. I wish I had youtube at work I'd post vids of my burnouts at the track.
