Default axles thread...

alright i went to the track first time lass week on street tires to juss check it out and see how everything goes... now im debating on radials or slicks
can my axles handle either? if so how much power with slicks and radials can my stock axles handle without breaking?

my friend has pro stock axles in his car cuz he has nitrous and 355 slicks on 16' aluminum rims those slicks snapped stage 3 axles and hadda go with the crazy axles...

I made over 100 passes on drag radials last year with no issue. That being said.....I have seen bone stock 350z/G35's explode stock axles on street tires.

I just looked at your mods and you are not making anywhere near 320whp. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Edit...did you dyno at Performance XXXXXX in NY? That dyno spits out totally unrealistic numbers.

Double edit....is your best ET a 13.6?

2.1 isn't terrible, but that mph is terrible for that power level....you should be trapping in the 110 area at a minimum. Brady only made 300 SAE on a dynojet and pulls in the 111mph range. I am going to guess that the dynojet results you got are in STD? Just curious.

STD is uncorrected. SAE is corrected. Still you are talking about ~100 pounds.....perhaps 1mph difference.

idk bout 100 could be more
rear rims weigh 110 compared to the stocks of like 90ish?
fronts 104 to the 86 of stocks
almost 11 gallons of gas approx 66 lbs
1 gallon of washer fluid 6 lbsish? lol
uhhh spare like 35lbs
and other crap that was in my car haha idk
and spinning all way through first and start of 2nd could mean about 10 mph where as i can launch my car at 4k and barely spin could get me to 13 flat easily my 370 friend ran a 13.0 on perfect street tires at 106. something and when we do a roll on street im right next to him till we stop so idk

My stock 03 fronts with 235's were 99lbs and rears with 255's were 102lbs....

Edit.....had wrong weights.
