I give you props for making the 6th gen maxima see those numbers. This is coming from another maxima owner.

That's impressive..

Your 60 footer 1.8 is awsome... For a FWD drivetrain.....

What have you done to the Car?

Congrats..

I think one of the reason's nobody really gets into the drag racing in this forum has more to do with the fact most people here don't know how to drive their Z's and it provides a convenient excuse to say our car isn't meant to be drag-raced, etc. Our car certainly has the potential, as some of the driver's on here have shown, but unlike some of the other muscle cars it does require more work than simply mashing the pedal. The launch can make or break the race for a Z driver (I'm obviously talking about M/T).

I think your times are great for your Maxima, you obviously drive it very well.

The auto would never pull a 1.8 60' you're right.

Good fawking driving.

Nice launch and Im sure you shifted the hell out of the thing to run 13.3 @ only 100mph trap

Any idea how much it weighs? What kinda power would a Maxima like that put down?

LOL @ the "I dont get it" Z owner comments, the same Z owners who run 14.3 @ 98mph with bolt-ons and drive like $hit...

Thanks man! Appreciate the comment.
I never let off the gas pedal. Powershift the hell out of this car. lol

I don't know how much it weighs. I'm gonna have to weigh it one of these days.
I think my car makes somewhere around 230whp, but I have never dynoed it.

Yeah, seriously, it's always the guys that are slow that talk ****. I find it amusing.

Default My Maxima just went 13.1 @ 104MPH!!!!!!!!

Super excited with this pass tonight!!!
The car definitely has more in it if I can actually get it to hook. lol
There were practically no slick cars tonight, so there wasn't much fresh rubber being put down.

The difference from my 13.3 pass is LOTS of weight reduction.

Here are the mods:
Fujita intake
3" exhaust back to a single magnaflow muffler (Still running the stock exhaust manifolds and stock cats)
NWP spacers
NWP Block off plate
15lb Lawnmower battery (only cost $25 at walmart)
26x11.5-16 ET Streets mounted on FD RX7 wheels (super lightweight)
Stock spare tire on drivers side
Friends mustang bullitt spare tire on passenger side (using the spares dropped 50lbs over the stock rear wheels)

Really simple setup with very little money invested.
My main goal is to go fast without headers and a tune.

Here is the fun stuff:

60 FT_____1.8710
330 FT____5.4481
1/8 ET____8.4199
1/8 MPH___82.89
1000 ET___10.9874
1000 MPH__96.36
1/4 ET____13.1629
1/4 MPH___104.14

I also ran 13.3 @ 104mph twice tonight as well. These passes only had a 2.0 60ft. I finally somewhat hooked on my 13.1 pass, watch the video.

The video might still be processing.

Let me know what you guys think.
12s coming soon if I can get back to the track before the season is over with.

Also, this track is awesome! They don't make me wear a helmet, and they didn't complain about the spare tires in the back. lol

^^^ LOL thats what I thought. That might be a really stupid idea...
But thats impressive though being a former Maxima owner myself. I had Greddy Evo2, Injen CAI, and G35 18"s on it. I really liked that car but I got the "bug" and decided a 350z would be a way better investment, and being 25 could now afford the insurance up here in Canada.
Your goal of not tuning or putting in headers and HFC's will fail cuz think of how much more power lies in those parts!!! You could probably squeeze and easy 20-25whp out of that...
Worlds fastest Maxima? lol

Had no idea you could fit 11.5 inch tire in front. Exceptional driving.

I thought the spares were unsafe at speeds higher than 50mph? Lol
