Illustrious return to drag racing....
After a two year hiatus, I hit the strip with my Z. Broke some stuff...what else is new! Was able to remedy the issue and run some personal bests. Thanks to ajcool2 for letting me borrow his et streets. Only served as a reminder for how much I hate the feeling of bias ply tires.
About midway through the 4th run I destroyed all the ignition components on cylinder 5. How...no one knows, but the spark plug was smashed and the coil pretty much fell apart. I thought the motor blew up....it was running on about 3% power.

Fixed her up and she was MOVIN!
Not bad for a car a VERY aggressive road race/autox alignment and first trip down the strip in a few years.
Car definitely has a low 12.70 in it...
Bolt-on 2003 350z with 110k HARD miles.

I've already stated that if the forum wars thing wants us back and it is within a 1 day tow....I'm in. The car is much more suited to racing with turns these days.

Val stepped up when no one else would. At the very least....his car is much prettier than mine.

Helmet cam from 12.97 run. Sadly...I didn't get the other two 12's on cam. The mount is pointed down slightly...I'm not looking at my feet the whole time

Nice. I've never been to the strip before, but I'm thinking about taking mine out and learning how to launch properly. I want to get a feel for getting the car safely down the track without the nitrous before I finish the NANO setup.
