Finally had a chance to get the car out and went with my buddy who has an identical build but his car is a NISMO running open dumps and 8.7lb springs. Car did well the first couple of passes but then just started losing traction (his car too). Not sure if it was temps or what but other cars were having issues. Oh, and the other thing was street tires. Don't mind my buddy blowing me up on the R/T. I was trying to focus on launch RPM and not watching the tree as much. Keep in mind this was the FIRST time my car has ever been pulled 1st through 4th!
Don't forget to watch in HD, 1080P. Timeslip at the end of the video...this was on street tires. Anyone else have issues with their tach not keeping up with actual RPMs? Lagging very slightly?
Short Movie of our best run, which happened to be together.
Timeslip attached...

Very nice! I couldn't get below 12 on street tires. I bought a set of 16" Mazda FD wheels and put some used MT ET street tires on and immediately ran an 11.58 with a 1.7 sec 60' haha. Do you still have stock axles?

I have the Greddy 20G kit with DSS Pro Axles and the OS Giken triple disc clutch with the ZSpeed CSC. I think I'm like 19 on the top 25 TT drag board. I bought a brand new built motor and solid motor, trans, and diff mounts but I've become really irritated with some companies over the last month and have decided to sell everything off and return the car back to stock to sell and move on to something else.
I'll be posting up my DSS axles and motor for sale probably tomorrow so if you guys are interested in anything let me know :-)
I'm taking the tires off of the Mazda FD wheels sometime this week and posting those up for sale also. They're nice because they're cheap and super lightweight. Oh yeah I've also got like 23 used ARP extended wheel studs but only 20 of them have been used.

I do but on street tires even not using it, it was wheel hopping on the 1-2 upshift. I would've blistered the tires with a no lift shifting! I didn't use the two-step either (obviously).

35psi, street trim. The car was how it is every day with the exception of the passenger seat, spare tire, and tire tools (85lbs altogether). I weighed the car @ 3,340lbs with a full tank of gas and no interior components removed. Half a tank at the track so I'm estimating 3,225+driver.
