what are the time deiferentials between a stock 5at z and a 5at z with the nismo exhaust. i purchased nismo exhaust and it is on its way. how big of difference will it make if any. let me know 1/4 times if possible

 

Sorry to tell you that the Nismo exhaust is not true dual. Stillen or Borla are dual exhaust. Anyway with the duals I'm thinking .2sec off the 1/4 mile?

 

so what does that mean that it is not true dual? it will still add some power wont it. ive read about 6 hp to wheels. i like it cause it doesnt void warranty and it sounds sweet

 

If your going to pay close to $1000 why not go duals? Its a cat back exhaust so what could go wrong? I do like the Nismo but they shouldve made it duals..The next Z(05-06yr) they probably have over 300hp with just the dual exhaust.

 

yeah i hear ya but i didnt want to void the warranty. nismo is an s tuned part and it doesnt void warranty. so thats why i went with nismo. i did it mostly for the sound quality

 

The only thing you'd void would be your exhaust warranty....You're o2 sensors and cats would still be stock and covered under warranty...so it really woul'd matter. Besides...unless you plan on having the nismo exhaust installed at a dealer...you won't have the warranty anyway...

 

i think u can get 10+ whp if u find the right exhausts
