To burnout or to not burnout. That is the question
Should I heat up my street tires before running at the track?
If so, should I back into the waterbox and do a powerbrake?
Or should I do a quick, dry burnout to clean the tires off NOT in the water.
My track doesnt use VHT and actually its a very slick track. It sucks

On street tires you want them a little warm not hot.
Also...go around the water and do a dry burnout to clean the tires off and get a little heat into them.
Everyone does it differently though...do whatever you have the best luck with.

i do burnouts, and cut 2.0 60's on shitty tires(sumitomo htrzII). My friends do burnouts and cut high 1.8s and low 1.9s (gatorbacks, bfg kdws, nitto555(nondr), and michelin pilot sports)

On street tires, I've always just done a quick dry burnout to warm them up just a touch and clean them off.
No point in doing a huge roasting cloudy burnout, unless you like buying new tires and/or showing off.
