Default Anyone using mustang wheels on the Z/G??

I am looking to get some mustang wheels for the G since they have the same bolt pattern, but the hub is a different size. I e-mailed tirerack.com asking about hub rings so they would fit, but tirerack wouldn't sell them since they aren't for a wheel that they sell and the liability is too high. Are the rings necessary (I would think yes), and where would I get them? Does anyone know the hub diameter of the G and the Mustang? Anyhelp would be appreciated!!!

you can get by without the rings. I;ve heard of mustang wheels on a non-track Z, but they dont fit if with Brembos, supposedly. Do you have a friend with a stang or can you test fit the wheels you are looking at buying?

Unfortunately, I don't, he just sold it and it was a 98 cobra anyway!!

The rear 17 x 8 mustang wheels don't fit with teh stock brembos? I am not going to put them on the front, just the rears and i am going to use my friends old drag radials for a few trips to the track. Sorry I wasn't more clear in my original post. I think I can get 2 rear mustang wheels for $100, so that would be a great deal for some drag radials and wheels!!

Like previously posted, I am not sure if they will fit with the brembo's but I am running oem Cobra R 17x9's with a 275/40/17 DR... The wheels fit perfect and have a 24mm offset.. They are also light!! The oem Cobra R wheel with the BFG 275 DR only weigh 49lbs each....

Jason,
Thanks for the help.

On a side note, how do you like the Perfect Power ECU? I haven't really heard too much about it since the initial release. Would you mind telling me a bit about it?

We haven't started selling the Perfect Power to the public yet due to a minor issue we are having with the infamous ses light. I have had it in my car for over 25,000 miles with no problems at all and serious gains... The light we are getting has no effects on the car but we didn't want to release it like that. We have it also installed a procharged car with insane gains... Please email your info and I will keep you posted as we are testing different systems right now...
Thanks,
Jason
