donno if this has been asked before but would the stock 17s or the stock 18s (that come with the performance) be better for drag racing? Or would it not make much of a difference?

Technically the 17's would make your car quicker because they are a hair lower than the 18's which would make better gearing. Also, the 17's are a little lighter. The only other thing though is traction, I don't thinnk it would make a difference but the 17's stock have a 235 in the back and the 18's have a 245.
