this doesnt make me feel pround to own a z all that work and money and cant break the 10 barrier. gona need alot more than 11,20s to beat vinny and the others

 

i wouldnt call that a joke. an 11.2 is not slow. they are probably still perfecting their setup, it takes time since they are pioneering the vq35 in drag racing. i think they are doing very well, this was done at only 9psi!

11,20 is actually very slow for the class there in, a recent convo with many cruz told me a copmany that will remain nameless at this time can produce 1500 hp with a vq motor and will give him the car and motor, hes in the air about it but like i said 11,20s in a class that is 7s and 8s isnt pioneering its making your self look like an idiot

 

and ill take bets now that there car there building with the cavalier chasis will hit the wall first time out turbo cars are alot diff than pro mod cars u need flex in the chasis and that chasis is flex less due to the high hp

They are not trying to compete in that class (with that particular car) if I understood previous threads. It must have been the only class they could get in at that time.

We were NEVER going to run in Pro-Outlaw... We did not have a headliner, carpeting, or Rear Hatch GLASS, so they asked us to run in Pro-Outlaw...

We are running in BFGoodrich Street Tire Class and Soon to be runing in the Pro-Compact Class.....

 

yes the pro compact class because the car is not competitive and is moving to a lower class

 

you have no idea what your talking about, the PRO-Compact class is the TOP CLASS....

honestly me and dan(bluefish) are'nt exactly friends but igotdamagicz, you my friend are making yourself look like an ***.. the car they've been running is their drift car and because of the amount of interior pieces they removed and the mods they have done it only fits into certain classes.. it wont be competetive in the classes they keep getting put in and i don't see the logic behind tuning and sorting out a car at major events, but thats their choice.... they have a pro tube frame car built that their in the process of finishing up... they only reason i can think of them taking their drift car to these events is to be out there and get exposure until the pro cars completed.. it may not be the best exposure because of the classes their forced to run, but again thats their choice..
