Something ain't right
Went to the local strip last Friday and was very disappointed with the results. The track conditions were as follows: elevation Sea level, Temp 85 to 87F , with RH somewhere between 60% and 80% (I'm guessing here). I have Michelin pilot sport a/s tires mounted on the stock 17" rims and mobil 1 oil as my only mods.
The car has <15K on the odometer now.
The first Run 14.9 @ 97mph w/ RT .939 (Yeah I was asleep)
wasn't too bad aside from the RT for my car. The rest of the runs slowly crept up into the 15's ending with my worst run of 15.3 sec-I lost to a spec-v, WTF.
The funny thing is that my RTs were better and my 60' times were consistently in the 2.3 to 2.4 range as the night wore on. Any ideas as to what may be going on here besides human factors like bad launches and slow shifts?

Thanks for the flippant remark. Aside from making contrived and useless comments does anyone have anything intelligent to add or is that expecting too much?

this means you learn to drive and buy some nitto 555Rs to fix your problem, do a heft burnout run them at 18 psi
buy nittos before you get any other mods because any other mods would be pointless n your case.
reaction time has nothing to do with anything. you are not a bracket racer so you could cut a .001 or a 4.00 and it makes no difference. Unless you are heads up racing in a competition of bracket racing dont worry about it.
go to the track on a non busy night, a wednesday or a saturday afternoon where you can make about 20+ passes,
learn to launch and where the car spins/hooks/bogs
you will get it. work on your shifting. you can practice this in your drive way. learn to speed shift. Power shifting will net you some MPH and alot of ET.
you should have no problem getting into the 1.9 60 foots, low 14s, and eventually and into the high 13s

so many thngs could have happened you could have missed 2nd or 3rd really bad and sprayed part of the run
no way to tell since your 60 is good and your 1/8s mph and et dont jive and of course your 1/4 trap doesnt work with your et
it looks like its an pass that you messed up somewhere before the 1/8 if i were to take a guess
This is an actual bracket race for Sat night where I just backed off after I caught the slower car. No spray and pretty hard to miss a shift when you run an auto left in D.
That was the first round, I am still in the competition which will be completed at the next race in 2 weeks, the race got shut down at midnite because of the noise laws so it will be treated like a rain delay.
What I was really trying to show was a fairly good r/t and 60' vs the other guy who had a very poor r/t and ran a 1/2 second off his dial in.

it is possible... you can bang off the limiter really hard in an auto
if you shift manually
also there are several lights, no tree pro tree sportsman, and the new LED system that you are running on.
where .000 is perfect
old style tree, pro tree, .400 is perfect and of course sportsman is .500

Murry I see that you are in NH...so you were at epping, they never prep the track on Friday night so you really need to bring good sticky rubber with you, I was there on Wed night and there were 3 Z's running...the humidity was around 90% that night and not one of them were getting any good times. Their traps were around 95mph with times ranging from 14.7 ~ 15.2 for all of them...I was down 4 mph due to the weather conditions also and I could not break out of 13.3's that night. Go on a Sat that is when they actually prep the track but you'll only get about 3 runs all day though

....mmmh, I've run a 14.79 at over 5300 feet (stock also). Are the AUTOs really that much slower than the MANUALs ?
From looking at your slip, I get the fealing your granny shifting into 2nd, or spinning tires really bad when you hit 2nd. I see you have a stick shift from your picture on your webpage.
I had simular times as you when I missed 2nd (14.8 at 99MPH).
