Trap: 103.92 / JUST AN EXHAUST...
By now you read my other thread, and if not...I ran a personal best in Englishtown last weekend of 13.794 @ 102.82 mph with just a catback exhuast.
Well, I did get to New England Dragway in Epping, NH on Firday night. This time I dropped my tire PSI down to 25 again, but did not run race gas. Just staright 93 octane. The car definately has 13.6's in her, and I went hoping to break into the 6's.
Well I didn't get my ET's low enough, but I did set another personal best for Trap speed. On my very first run I ran a trap of 103.92 mph (breaking my other best of 102.82). Almost hitting 104 with a k&n drop in and rs-r exhasut.
However, I couldn't get my 60' foot times down and matched my best ET with a 13.796.
My runs: 10/8/04 @ Epping, NH
Run 1: 13.987 @ 103.92 (60ft - 2.376)
Run 2: 13.856 @ 103.61 (60ft - 2.228)
Run 3: 13.796 @ 103.91 (60ft - 2.236)
Trying to breaking into the 13.6's before winter.

nice mph, and good idea not using the race gas. that will only hurt your performance. your 60's kinda suck, you could easily see 13.4s or better with that mph and a decent 60'. The weather must be awesome for racing up there right now
hehe, makes me giggle. I definately need a bit of practice on my launching technique.
Conditions are great up here since it's getting cool. Friday night temp. was about 63*, it was a cisp night, no humidity. I was a little concerned at first, since it was night time. Thought the track would be slick since there's no sun obviously. But it was prepped real nice and was very sticky.

Here are the slips...I'm car 850 (obviously)
Best of the night was the 13.796 @ 103.91 (gotta work on the 60 footers). All of these were on stock tires and rims...only mod is the exhaust and drop in filter...

Run 1 was against a 240sx, Run 2 was against a Jetta, and Run 3 was against a "ridiculous" mustang....
