Default Car Companies & Drifting

First was Pontiac with the GTO and Rhys Millen, now according to Modified Mag, Ford and Toyo are sponsoring Ken Gushi who will be drifting the new 2005 Ford Mustang GT. I think its good that companies are backing drifters and it will help with exposure, but i dont see it boosting car sales of mustangs. Just my thoughts You think large companies backing drivers like this will make it a sport that can depend on what sponsors you have?

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here so please please be kind on my opinions. First of all, I do believe Ford will be able to boost a certain amount of Mustang sales by backing up Pro Drifters such as Ken Gushi. Big budget factory + talented young driver, it's going to have lots of media coverage in the future.
Is Mustang a good drift car? I would not dare to judge it because a good drift car is made out of proper and very balanced tuning plus experienced tuners to get the very bit of the performance out of the products. The car maybe seemed a little bit overweighted and big, but hey who knows? different people have different tastes and those who dig Mustangs would sure be the first in line after Ken has taken actions.

just some opinion and Z rocks!!

What motorsport does not depend on what sponsors you have? (or how much money you have?)
