Love drifting my new 05 350z
Finally, I completed everything to get my Z legal and took it for a ride in the canyons of Palos Verdes today. I took some pictures and had some fun with it. I had no idea how great these cars are for drifting. Does anyone else here love drifting their Z? Even better, does anyone know of any legal places to do it in southern California? Lol

Thanks Mr. Sparco. That's not too far from me, would have been fun. For now I have parking lots and empty intersections I suppose. Does anyone amateur race on tracks? These cars seem like they will handle amazing through those turns. There s a Porsche track opening up by where I live. Would be fun to mosh on some porches lol.

I switched from a crotch rocket to a Z thinking I would be getting less crazy but I underestimated how fun it would be lol. Hopefully I can hold it in until I can find a safe environment to have fun with it.

I'm embarrased to drive mine, considering most of the Z drivers in my area tend to do street drifting in broad daylight, or slow *** 155 mph pulls in traffic.

Nice looking Z- keep it that way!
There are several of us who race their Zs. In your area, I would check out SCCA events at Cal Speedway. You'll go faster for longer than you can believe at a dedicated race track.

Thanks dkmura, ill check into that. Yeah I agree on keeping it the way it is. Story behind it is a tree fell through the roof. Guy bought it to turn into a drift car because the engine only had 80k. Tuned it up very nice and added mods but spent as least money as possible repairing the body which has alot of gaps and isn't completely air/water tight. The paint is peeling off like a lizard too. Been sitting for 3 years in the sun. Decided to maybe sand it down and maybe get a different steering wheel and keep it as a sleeper. Hopefully one day I can strap a couple of turbos on it and make it a track only car.
