You have a factory stopper that you must shave down in order to get max angle. You can use that stopper and add a couple washer behind it so that you can adjust how much angle you do get, so you can stop it from actually rubbing the wheels into things if you get too much angle.

-Also, look into getting SPL compression arm bushings as you will tear that oem bushing even FASTER with this kit...
-The rim of the wheel will eat into the compression arm...
-The tire will contact the inner fender wheel well and can burst....
-The brake line routing is crucial - i recommend SS lines for durability as well since a busted or belted tire can eat through a typical hose brake line.
I have gotten to about 1/3 through the compression arm before swapping it out...

Bringing this back to life!!!
Anyone looking to do this mod just save up and get an angle kit, I mean, to begin with adding more angle doesn't make you drift any better until you can control/handle what you have at stock, until you know you're ready for more angle then go for an angle kit wether it's pbm or wise fab. But in my experience, with this mod I didn't really notice a difference on track, maybe I stepped too soon onto the pbm angle kit I don't know. Just my .02

another good option is to get steering rack spacers like the ones maverick motorsports sells. I work in a machine shop so I made my own of those. just an idea. you get full thread engagement and big angle. you may rub if you do one on each side though

I tend to disagree with this honestly, the SPL/Tein/Cut bump stop was one of the best bang for the buck modifications I ever did to my Z. Steering was more responsive and I for sure noticed the added angle, although not as crazy as the big dollar kits, was more than enough to help.
Agreed!
