2 Questions:
1) When can we officially sign up for the drift day at irwindale?
2) I found a good price on a pair of winter/all-season tires for the rear...how bad would it be to run these for the drift day?

What kind of tires are they? If it is a Blizzak or similiar, they are pretty soft and wouldn't last very long.

How many sets of tires do we need? I only have one set of stockers..

(Never drifted before...not on purpose anyways)

Oh BTW, I have a BELL M2 helmet for sale for $89 if anyone need a helmet for drift days.

They are indeed blizzaks. $120 for a pair of pretty much new 18s...i dont (at least i dont think i should) expect tires to last that long on a drift day. So would this be a bad idea or ok?

they wont be able to handle the high heat, and end up getting toasted and falling apart really quick.

They just are not made to handle much heat or dry pavement for that matter.

fawk...I cant make it. I had to delegate my vacation time between Tahoe and Drift Day. Drift Day..I would have to pay to fly and find a place to stay. Tahoe...all my expenses are paid. Tahoe won the deal. Unless there's something going on again sometime March, I will be in LA for conferences. I'm all about free
