Default Installed Nismo Diff Today, Drift Event Tommorow

I am by no means a great drifter, I have only entered a few events to this point and get a little practice time in at our local spot.

I have an Enthisiast model and the stock VLSD finally gave out on me.

Got my hands on a Nismo unit and set it to its highest setting. Needless to say, it is loud and clunky as hell in slow turns, but it is fantastic when sliding.

I couldnt get my hands on any Motul fluid locally so i went with Redline. I will be switching this asap.

This weekend is our season opener drift event at Phoenix International Raceway.

To this point I have only drifted in parking lot events with the stock VLSD...this will be my first event on a high speed track, and my first with the Nismo diff.

I will post up the results and a review of the diff. Monday.

I also installed a 90 shot N20 system, so it should be interesting.

Rich, check and see if you can have NOx hooked up at PIR. It might get you kicked out in tech. Why did you choose the highest setting?

Well, today was quite a learning experience. N20 is legal at the track, used it on my first few runs.

The diff is fantastic. Really slides well. Very predictable.

I have alot to learn about high speed drifting. More after tommorows event.

I also have the Nismo diff on a base model...I loove it!!!...I was at two events this past weekend (the first events I've attended in my Z) and at 100% lock it is very easy to controll and predictable..I would highly recomend this diff.
