Haha, what are you doing on here? You should be working on the RB26. We gotta have the 1J and RB cars on the track running tandem before the season ends. It's gonna sound so sick!!!

Sup Kev? The S14 and the Z are totally different beasts. I had to get used to the powerband of the S14. The 1JZ doesn't have as much torque down low as the VQ, but once the boost kicks in you have to hold on for your life. Plus the S14 is 400 lbs lighter. The only downside of the S14 is the tranny, the R154 is like shifting a friggin school bus. The throws are long as hell. Did you drive on wed or are you still looking for a new chassis?

not too much man, lots of school and a little bit of work. how have you been? glad to see the s14 and Z are running strong.

yea i would imagine them being totally different. especially regarding the weight and powerband. at what rpm does the 1j hit full boost? haha and are the throws really that bad? im sure its even worse considering the 350z's throws are nice and tight. anything you can do to remedy that, short shifter or anything?

nope no driving for me yet. still trying to find a new chassis. i was actually kind of toying with the idea of selling everything and taking a break, but i know i will hate myself. so thats out of the question. haha im just depressed that im going to miss at least a few more events.
