^ looks like good times. Is that the inside course of a oval track? Love the white smoke are those 3rd gear runs?

 

awesome time haha, no its a road course. no third gear either all second, allthough looking back i think ill probably use third in a few places next time i go there. I LOVE MAKING SMOKE. haha

 

nice. any mods in the near future, ever thought about tandeming?

 

i did tandem a little bit at the last drift faction event (parking lot events that me and litoflow both go to). If i dont get a designated drift car like a 240 this winter ill probably be doing a cage, seats, harness', and steering wheel. So i can tandem at club loose(the track in the pictures). Maybe a welded or aftermarket diff too. vlsd sucks.

 

i thought about getting a dedicated car also cause i know i will want to tandem but when i add up everything that i want it's close to 15k. For that much i might as well drift the z.

Never had any probs with my vlsd but i dont seem to be going at it as hard as u though. heard good things about the OS Giken LSD.

 

I've rocked a stock VLSD for the past two years and I didn't think it was that bad until it started wearing down. And even now when I look back it never really locked that aggresively, have to rely a lot on weight transfer and keeping the revs up. I shimmed it a couple of weeks ago and it's leaps and bounds better. Kind of re-learning the car.

btw 350zhr, that course looks really fun. Can't wait for my first event on a road course in October.

thanks again manny, dude i think you need to run third gear the whole course except for in the hairpin turn.

That's a sick track but that of track experience sounded absolutly horrible surprised it didn't break anything. Other then that it looks like your on the right path to get pretty good in short time

 

thxs but that was nothing, went off in turn 1 pretty hard and thought i went airborne. Gotta try and push urself and go harder if you want to improve. Here are some offroading pics at the event. I've been watching some of my buddies run and think I know what im doing wrong so hopefully i can get it fix at the next event.
