Those are some pretty nice roads for being in the middle of nowhere. Louisiana should learn a thing or two from Kentucky.

Do any of you guys have working ebrakes?

No working ebrakes yet i will hopefully be doing a hydro brake soon, im gonna be going to a few events this year. But i need to figure out how to fix this abs/traction crap. When the wheels are spinning it wont let me use the brake? Thats why i slid into the ditch.

Yeah I drifted a Z with the abs still hooked up a couple of months ago, the brakes completely threw me off. It makes the experience of drifting pretty crappy. Pull the fuse asap.

Interior: Bucket seat, rails, harness, QR, HUB, steering wheel, cage, padding, hydro

Suspension Coils, full arm set, z32 calipers, z32 master, new pads and rotors,

Engine Engine rebuild with weisco pistons, t25 turbo kit with FMIC, aluminum radiator

And im sure im leaving some stuff out but those are some of the big items. I know i didnt need everything listed but wanted to upgrade to those items.

That is way more than 8k Johnny and alot of that stuff you really dont need on a Z...

Z's have enough power and torque just the way the come..

the first things you listed would be perfect unless you really want to start adding turbos and competing..

my opinion setup
suspension, arms, gutting interior with cage, seat, harness, hydro,
Best investment DIfferetial, radiator, exhast and a little more bolt on's and good enough set up for drifting...
and replace clutch when you need to LOL

^ he was talking about a s13

i wana get a cheap s13 and just do the basics to drift it cause im scared to hurt my Z but its a lot of money

^ for a z, camber arms will help you bring the negative camber back to stock when you lower the car. That is the only arm i have on the z and really the only one u need.

As for the s13, I have tension rods, traction rod, toe arms, RUCA, and front lower control arms. They all do different things. U dont need all the stuff i listed but i would atleast do RUCA on a S13.

As for why KA over SR. The 2.4 provides more torque than the 2.0 SR, bottom end on the KA is stronger, easier and cheaper for me to find replacement parts for the KA.

If your just going to do parking lot events and do single runs, you will be fine in the z. U wont really hit nothing unless you are really acting crazy. I only switched to a s13 cause i wanted to cage it up do tandem and travel to different places and compete some.

Here is a link to my build thread if you are interested.

the arms- it really depends how low your car is, if you are really low than toe arms and camber and possibly tractions arms would really help to get close to stock like johnny said and if you run 0 camber on the rear than you really need them...

Not that I dislike KA-t, but this isn't necessarily true. Bottom end on an SR can handle around 500whp (and whatever equivilant torque that it's coupled with), bottom end on a KA is only partially balanced and would need work before it could handle that much power. Also the ring lands on KA's are notoriously weak and the pistons would need to be replaced before they could handle the same amount of boost an SR could. I have friends that have been running 18lbs on their stock SR with T28 pushing around 300whp for 5 years with no issues. I also know people that pushed 10lbs on a T25 on a stock KA that have blew ring lands, threw rods, etc etc. Nothing wrong with Ka-t but it needs work to be as reliable as an SR.

Not a Z but I feel left out now so I'll post this here anyway.

<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/35122379?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0" width="400" height="711" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe>

Decided not to double check my tire pressure. Found out I was running 20- 30psi too much in all of my tires....

your doing exactly what i did, while paying off a Z built a s13, $8-9 grand all said and done. but now im at the point where i want to get rid of the s13. feel a little more comfortable in the z. And the main reason im selling it is because i need a truck and cant keep 2 drift cars.

good luck man!
