I have those rails, they work good, and sit fairly low too. (6', with a EVO2plus, and a helmet and I still have clearance room.)

 

I did, well i still do. But Ive began the part out on it. It was just too much of a headache.
So I am drifting the z again and hopefully will have a cage in it soon.
I doubt that I will be at lime rock because Ill be spending a bunch of money on seats, seat rails, steering wheel/quick release set up and cage.

I'll be at ECB for sure though.

This coming lime rock is my last event in new england, would be nice to see you maybe even tandem if u down. i gotta get the same seats and the whole nine yards since i parted out everything. but for now i am just chilling and using what i got. hell i even need a hydro ebrake cause i currently dont got anything lol. anyways if i dont get to see you man. im sure i'll see pics. good to see you around on a 350z. and btw i tried drifting a 240 and had to go back to a z bro

 

clubloose wont let you drive with a cage and oem seats, and i want to have a quck release set up when i have a cage.

Youre going to miss ECB? That sucks. Id tandem with you if I was there, but i wont be. Im going to try to get the car all ready for A group for ECB.

I hear ya on the 240 back to a z, I drove a buddy of mine's s13 @ drift faction in may and it felt like it had no grip, I had to get back in my car.

i don't think i will be making ECB. I want to and i just might but we will see. I start driving down to Miami on June 30th maybe i'll just go there drift, sleep over and keep going down. we'll see im not sure but i will be definitely at Lime Rock Park!

i cant wait to get my cage man, thats gonna have to wait till after miami lol

Thanks dude! And I know, trust me hahaha. I really need to get my seat rails raised up at least a few inches. At LEAST. Part of that course I had to actually pull down on my steering wheel to lift myself up a bit so I could see if I was in course or not... That's always safe

 

 

 

hey dudes, Anyone ever had problems with wheel hop while you are drifting?

I had it happen to me all weekend at East Coast Bash, it happens mostly when near steering lock, it happens when the tires are brand new or used, it is worse when they are almost done though.

Have you checked any of the rear end out? Look at your rear bushings, the diff bushings as well as the subframe bushings. What kind of differential do you have? I had bad wheel hop until I installed my SPL subframe / diff bushings. Never had an issue ever since.

 

The diff is welded and I have solid spl diff bushings.
Right now the only thing I can think of is maybe the rear alignment not being even as I did it myself with a level and tape measure.? It could be even, Im just saying that it also could not be even as it wasn't done with a machine.
