Yeah my Z is about an inch (maybe a little more) off the ground. To the point where my front upper arms smack the chassis if I dont run enough preload. At one point the car was pretty much sitting on the upper arms. Nothing has broken yet. Been driving like that for over a year. I'm sure something will give eventually but it's whatever.

LSB this weekend. Hopefully I'll have some decent pictures to contribute.

Got back from Lone Star Bash late last night. Definetly the most bad *** event I've ever been to. Got tons of seat time, learned alot about this car. Like how the stock wheels are way too small for high speed aggresive entries and how this car is a cow compared to most other typical drift cars. But I love how easy this car is to slide. Here are some pics from the event.

Great talking with you at the event Snoty (sp). Regarding the differential, where did you manage to find a track model diff? and for how much?

Lol it's Snoddy but no biggie haha. Yeah it was good talking to you too man. There is a shop local to here and the owner just so happened to have a spare one sitting around. I got it for $250 and 3 G35 wheels with curb rash and bald tires lol. I'm sure you can find a better deal on here but then you have to worry about getting it shipped.

Edit: If you have a few extra hundred getting a nice clutch type lsd wouldn't be a bad investment. I'm actually thinking about shimming my VLSD or swapping my vlsd out for my welded when events comes around. I want something a little more aggresive.

Hey Snoddy it was nice talking to you also, You still killed it out there. What speed were you hitting coming in the first corner I know some people hit 100hp +. Good job, let me know how that welded diff goes, I plan on doing that in a couple of weeks, like I told you.

Also I have some sick shoots of you, I'll post tomorrow

Oh Eirc I told you don't be scared to weld your diff...

Well I tried to look at my speedo as little as possible but on average every time I shifted into 4th I was between 85-90mph and that was a couple of seconds before i initiated. 100mph sounds about right for the other guys, I was probably around 90-95mph.

I didn't do as good as I wanted to but oh well there's always next time. I have time to get ready in the mean time, it was definetly good practice.

Man... I want 4th gear entry's sooo bad!

Looks good OG, but looking at a couple shots got me wondering if you had sway bars or not and what coilovers you were on?

Also, seriously you need to pick up some drift wheels! Stockers ruin it soo bad!!!

ninja edit: I used "soo bad" too much.

I'm on Stance GR+. Still running stock sways. I noticed it too. Don't know what the deal is. I had my front dampers set all the way stiff because that's how I daily them and I was getting tons of understeer. When I softened them up it helped out a little but the understeer was still there.

I noticed alot of the other cars were getting a decent amount of body roll too though, maybe it was just the course layout

Get sway bars, loosen up the struts and that will help out for sure.

Front sway = soft
Rear sway = stiff

I promise this will help

Oh, and next season I'm going to have a truck/trailer so that very well could be a possibility. I want to expand to other drift club's and get some seat time with other style's of driving. Made it to a Drift Indy event and the difference in style's in comparison to ClubFR was crazy.

I was just talking with my sponsor J&R Auto care center from Jersey and he wants me to make it out there next season so for sure I'll be out there at Englishtown at least once.

Good stuff!

Englishtown this past Sunday. Yes the radiator core support is gone and the radiator is held in with ratchet straps against the bumper core. I had a bit of an off earlier in the day you can see below.

Crash video is up:

The thumbnail does a good job of telling the story, all I could see was sky, hah! I didn't get the clutch back in quick enough and get back in the power so the car straightened out and I used the available... *ahem* runoff.

Exterior View From the grid of the crash, pretty funny looking.

http://blip.tv/file/2772054

Highlights from Onboard the 350z, didn't shoot most of my runs at the end of the day due to forgetting to swap tapes. I NEED a rear facing camera on the roof.

Now to tear it down and get more angle and more power on the car!

Well finally got out to the track for some seat time at Mineral Wells. Some friends took some pics of me around the track, but most of the pics have bad angles. But you get the idea. Its time to buy some drift wheels cause its so sad looking at the sunken factory wheels.
