quick drift question
well me and my buddies found a spot where a wearhouse used to be but it was torn down and now theres a huge flat parking lot that is slick on the top. perfectly hidden behind trees and you cant even see the road.
so anywya me and my buddies were sliding around and i dont want to do it much becaue i have the goodyear eagle f1's and there expensive! but i figure do a few laps before i go. well im sliding around and as i get to the end i figure it would be cool to slide towards them. well as im sideways letting it stop i hit the brakes and i hear the kind of thumping or grinding? thought it was prob the brakes. sounded like them. i was wondering if you werent suppose to hit the brakes when your sideways? just wondering. and like i said i was letting it come to a stop if that makes any difference. thanks!!

Probably the abs. I noticed when I finished a run and was going to turn around for another go, I pulled the handbrake and while sliding hit the brakes and the abs went nuts.
I've been doing some research on disabiling the abs and found a bunch of posts talking about clunking noises and such. I didn't bother reading them cause thats not what I was looking for, but just from my experience, probably the abs.
