I've had welded, no thanks, for a straight drift car, maybe, but not for a daily ride that will see the autoX course, road racing and some drift. I'll spend the money for a proper diff. I heard the Nismo can be set-up for 1.5 or 2 way, but I prefer 1.5 way for it's multi-purpose use for grip and drift.

Nackers, what sways did you have?

The welded diff isn't that bad. Been riding around with Royal_T and it feels solid. I'm doing the same without cash to spend on a proper 1.5 way diff.

If the car is purely used for drifting, then I agree 100% with the welded. I've done it and had no complaints.

But, for anything else, I suggest a 1.5. Best of both worlds with very little compromise when it comes to drifting.

Oh, and I've got the hotkish sways.
