Yes. The first time I did it I think I spent 13 hours getting everything done. It was retarted.
Here's a few pointers:
bench bleed the unit before installing it
Make sure to check the FSM on the bleeding procedure. If I remember right we had to unplug the VDC and/or disconnect the battery before starting the process.
When bleeding, start on one side and pump the foot brake. Goto the other side still pumping the foot brake. Then go back to the other side using the handbrake. Keep doing this a few times.
Hook the battery back up, start the car and check the pedal feel. Repeat the bleeding process.
This next thing is not advisable but I ended up driving the car a bit and getting up to like 20-30mph and slamming on the brakes a few times then pulled the car back in and started bleeding again. I had to repeat this a couple times.
It was a stupid pain in the *** but just keep at it. Eventually it will work.
The other thing we tried was a vacuum bleeder. This didn't really seem to make any difference.
