Default wheel/tire size

Questions for the z drifters out there

I have been drifting with 8 inch wheels + spacers in the back and 225 tires. I have stock NA power so it's really easy to break traction. I need new wheels and I'm thinking about getting some larger wheels for the back so I don't have to use spacers. Something like 9 to 10 inch in the rear. That means I'll have to start getting 245 tires. How is that working for you or should I stay on 225's.

I've drifted on 18's up to 12 inches wide on a stock motor with no issues. Obviously, the tires are more expensive at that size, so I wouldn't recommend it. But, it still broke traction easily. If I were you, I'd keep the wheels you have now and get wheels to drive around on. It's always nice to have a few wheels when you're a drifter.
