Has anyone drifted their 350z with a 3.69 diff. I currently have a 3.3 which gives me a long 2nd gear but an unusable 3rd gear.

Basically i need more gearing to drift faster. How do you guys get on with drifting third gear in your VQ's.

My car is a pretty much stock 350z, engine wise, with a standard vq35hr (even still has cats atm). I usually run a 225 tire, car has true coilovers and some arms with a 0 toe/camber rear alignment.

 

A shorter gear will help you a lot for sure. But you should probably be going shorter like a 3.9 or a 4.08.
