Default Your cars?

Hi, new here. Just picked up my 03' used silverstone enthusiast and I love it. I got tired of old Cressidas and Corollas and RX7's for drifting, so I just started working a lot more and put a down on this.

Anyway, been doing my research on these cars, and just wondering if there's anybody else out there that drifts these. Could use some pointers and advice on those that do it. DD20 is coming up and I hope to get some input on the car before then. Thanks!

PLee-Z, you'll find many people are willing to help! Best thing to do is come out to some local meets/drives. There is a meet in Chico tomorow night, I should be there and we can talk.

Are you signed up for the Saturday DD20? I should be there that day as well, but will only be driving on Sunday DDA.

Check out the Regional , SoCal forums for meets, and some drifting forums: www.zyptied.com, www.drifting.com, www.driftpimps.com HTH

PLeeZ, I assume you have drifted before from your post, and you are attending the DD "advanced"... Are you running the car stock?

I drifted mine stock for over a year and was very pleased. I would bring at least 4 extra wheels/tires for the rear since the Z has a lot more torque than the other cars you mention, and the surface at Cal Speedways seems to eat up tires faster than any other place I've ever been There is a used tire place on Milliken and the 10fwy that is open on Saturday, $50 each for 18's
$40 for 17's.

I would also check your VLSD and change the fluid before/after the event. I had 3 of those changed under warranty before finally upgrading to a KAAZ (the best upgrade I have ever made to a car!)

btw you can fit 4 wheels and tires in the car if you don't bring a passenger HTH

Oh it's you! Guy with the white wed's in the front. Hahah, I was in the white T2 at dd19. Yeah thanks for your input.

You know I'm getting a free new LSD because of you right? It's going to the dealer tomorrow for it.

I don't see how I can even fit two without a passenger....

Yeah, I remember you I was telling you to bring the Z out next time haha

The Enthusiast doesn't have VDC if I remember correctly... so the fuse is only the ABS/TC fuse. I am not sure where it is in your model, but will look. The base/enthusiast cars I have checked already had a blank spot where our VDC/ABS/TC fuse is.

Good luck on the LSD. hahaha
