Default Drifting + VDC = ?

hey all, im a n00b, 1st post style...

question for the drifters with and w/o VDC, i was wondering how different the cars behave...i have heard (dont hold me to this) that once you dis-engage the VDC a portion, just a tiny percent is still ON....and may produce alittle understeer than a Z33 without VDC. Now i am not sure, i just wanted to make sure, and if it does ok, and if it doesnt explain why/how.
And do you drift w/ your VDC equipped Z? or do the majority of drifters on this site preffer non-vdc Z's

thanks alot!

It's the red square 50 amp fuse in the lower right corner of the fuse box under the hood (in the same compartment as the battery)
It is the only red larger style fuse in that compartment.

When you first drive with it out the: VDC, Brake, Slip, and ABS lights will go on indicating that those three functions (including the traction control) are disabled. You should feel the difference in throttle response and brake feel immediately

Is this better at the 1/4 and drift track to pull the fuse or just shut VDC off?

I feel I get a better launch and better throttle response with the fuse pulled. This is also the only way to fully disable the brake traction control.

did anyone get a clicking noise in the front under hard breaking after pulling the fuse?

I had some clicking, but it went away after I just put the fuse back in today.

From my experience in all VDC equipped cars the Slip and VDC lights will come on once you begin driving if you remove the ABS/VDC fuse. Can you confirm that this is the fuse you removed? Did you actually drive the car with the fuse pulled?

Open hood, Open Brake Fluid cover box-

there will be a small Grey colored cable going into a Silver aluminum ABS box along the fenderwall.. its silver and has alot of metal tubes going into it. pull the cable out. and your VDC/ABS/TCS will be disabled (along with warnign lights on the dash will be turned on) and you're set.
just rememebr to plug it back in when you're done with whatever you're doing.

So pulling the 50amp fuse under the hood disables everything but do you still have brake lights? Ive pulled the 10amp fuse behind the kick panel and it disables everything but you dont have brake lights.

I think the brake lights still work if you just pull the 50amp VDC/ABS fuse ... can't remember since I've had my Yaw sensor disconnected forever now and haven't had to mess with any other fuses.
