Default Specialty Z High 5 Clutch/Flywheel combo 03-06

For sale is a specialty Z high 5 clutch and flywheel combo, retail is $1050. I used it for 1 1/4mile pass (trailerd car) and did not like the way it engaged with the launch controller, it grabbed too well and couldn't slip it causing too much wheel spin. 03-06 flywheel
$500 shipped that's $120 less than the price of just the clutch without shipping if you were to buy separate, save $600+

Clutch
SZ/RPS High 5 Series clutch (Rated @ 850 foot pounds of torque)
This Clutch is for cars with upgraded large turbos. The Guys with the BIG HP!
Comes with a HD 5-Puck disc for the aggressive driver.

Our new high power single disc set up we are calling the "SZ HIGH 5" This clutch will use our new pressure plate and has a aluminum 5 puck disc that is half the weight of the standard 6 puck disc and this allows butter shifting and is MUCH easier on the transmission. This set up will hold up to 800 RWHP (real-world testing) and allow shifting at much higher RPM's. Getting into the lightweight benefits reveals much improved high RPM shift-ability. There is less friction & drag to slow the input shaft down quicker to allow the synchros to mesh up better. There is also less parts to break like the springs on the sprung hub discs. The only down side encountered is low RPM load or lugging that creates noise transfer of the drive-train. Engagement is surprisingly easy and daily driver street-able
FLYWHEEL
These flywheels utilize a patent pending "segmented" heat shield system. Traditional heat shields warp because of the uneven heat produced by a slipping clutch. Just like a car going around in a circle, the outside tires go faster than the inside tires, the clutch disc slides faster around the outside of the flywheel than it does around the inside. The faster moving outside gets hotter than the inside. Because metal expands more the hotter it gets, the outside of the heat shield expands more than the inside. Traditional heat shields are made of one piece metal rings, so when the outside expands more than the inside, the only thing the shield can do is warp. The segmented heat shields are not connected so they can expand and contract without warping. A warped heat shield causes the clutch to slip, which causes more heat and more warpage.

Our Billet Flywheels are dynamically balanced after CNC machining. Other flywheel manufactures assume that since they CNC their flywheels it comes off the machine fully balanced. This would be true assuming the density of the aluminum is constant throughout the part. Unfortunately even the best billet material is not evenly dense throughout and the starter ring gears are never perfect.

SZ Flywheels are also fully rebuildable for the life of the car. Weigh in at 12lbs.

I'd Separate the combo, flywheel is like 475$ new so i would do $400 shipped or 360 plus shipping your choice, only thing with the SZ products is that you have to use an SZ clutch due to the increased size
