FS: Exedy D-Core Carbon Twin Clutch Kit
I bought this for my XDC car but decided that I wanted to stay single disk. I bought it used from a good friend and I actually drove on it before buying it. it works great. Like the title says, it is a twin disk carbon clutch and it is for the HR Z's. It will work on DE and rev-up motors just fine as well. All you need to do is mount the flywheel 180 degrees out so the crank sensor will read properly. I actually drove it on a DE powered Z and I did the install so I know all of this for a fact. The clutch has plenty of life left in her, dont ask my how many miles because I dont know.My guess would be less then 10k. It was bought used from japan.Last I heard, they dont sell these in the US for the HR's, unless that has changed in the past year or so.Vivid Racing sells these new for the DE powered 350z's for 2,682.80.

How would one go about getting replacement disks for this if you can't get them in the US? I'd strongly consider it, but if it's got unknown mileage on it, i'd want to be sure I could rebuild it if I had to.
they are the same replacement disks as the DE and rev up clutch kits. the only difference is going to be how the crank sensor reads the flywheel (180 degrees out) basically, lining the dowel up on the flywheel makes it for an HR motor and mounting it upside down (180 out) will make it for a de/rev up. since you have an 08 model, you would just mount it like normal. so dont even mind what I said about the DE/REV UP guys.So to make a long aswer short, just get replacement disks for the DE clutch kit. By the way, this thing has at least 3 quarters left of life in it before replacement disks will be needed. I just dont know the milage. But I do know how much use it has. I have seen clutches with 50K on them that are burned up and clutches with 100k and some life left in them. miles on a clutch means jack, how it was used in those miles are what matters. and this thing has lots of life. hope this helps you with your decision woes...

Exedy was one of the first ones to figure this out and resolve it by adapting the design to match the factory design, not just re-using thier DE pressure plate design on another flywheel.

IT IS FOR AN HR, NOT DE. I was strictly speaking about replacing the carbon disks and plates, not pressure plate or flywheel.
you asked about disks, not pressure plates or flywheels. the disks are indeed the same.the pressure plate is marked with the part number on it and all you have to do is order the pressure plate from a place that can order from japan or even ask exedyusa for the part number. the same goes for the flywheel
